Hiram gear can be farmed on mobs. You can also get from free Archeage Web-store pack if you are a returnee. Also some events let's you choose this reward.
Only "Abyssal Legion" marked mobs from following maps are drops the GEAR:
*Diamond Shores
*Marcala
*Calmlands
*Nuimari
*Heedmar
Dropped gears are grand grade and needs to be upgraded. Quick information before reading about regrade: Hiram gear's effects can be replaced (stats). So don't be sad if you got a sword with spirit on it.
REGRADE
Regrading Hiram gear is about feeding gear with xp items. Other hiram gears and Hiram Infusions are the ways you can regrade your gear.
On your Inventory screen, click on Gear Upgrade. Place your Hiram gear on left and infusions on right side. You can auto-place infusions for faster progress.

1 infusion costs 20 labor and some gold depends on XP worth of infusion (grade).
Infusions can be dropped in following maps, and from daily hiram quests (reward option);
*Western - Eastern Hiram mountains
*Reedwind
*Exeloch
*Sungold
Those maps also have some hiram dailies that makes you choose between Infusions or Awakening scrools.
Also Diamond Shores map has a Hiram daily.
Hiram infusions' grades are rewarding diffirent XP amounts
There are also some other events to get Hiram infusions;
*Crimson Rift - Grimhast Rift
*The Fall of the Hiram city
*Mines in WHM
*10v10 arena, Halcyona and some other events. *One of the 3 Marketplace quests that asks for 50 mobs in WHM , can be completed as same time with WHM daily (Free Purchase on Marketplace > Award > Gold tab)
*Daily 5 Lesser Infusions from Marketplace, same tab in 3 quests

UPGRADE
Once when you hit your Tier 1 Hiram gear to celestial, you can try to awaken it by using awakening scrolls.
MAKE SURE YOU HIT %99 XP BEFORE AWAKENING SO YOU SPEND LESS LABOR AFTER AWAKENING! if awakening fails, you will have %5-10 extra chance for next awakening (%10-30 for quill scrolls)
You can get those scrolls from;
Rare:
*Reedwind Daily reward option - Mob drops
*Sungold Daily reward option - Mob drops
*Exeloch Daily reward option - Mob drops
*WHM Mines
Radiant;
*WHM dailies and Drops
*WHM mines
*One of the Marketplace dailies
*You can turn 5 lesser scrolls to 1 greater one from proven warrior workbench. In any tier, normal scrolls has a chance to crystallize the item if awakening fails and you will have to buy Decrystallization Scroll for 10.000 honors. To prevent that, you can make greater scrolls that uses high amount of normal awakening scrolls and a Runescribe Quill (This item can be crafted, purchased on AH or Guild prestige store) that saves you from spending tons of honors.
You can make T1 scroll with normal Runescribe Quill and 50 Hiram Awakening Scrolls.
Once when you hit your T2 Gear to Divine, you are ready to try Awaken it to T3! You will need greater scrolls;

To make It final (T4) , you will need to hit Epic and use diffirent Awakening scrolls;
Those scrolls can only be accuired in EHM dailies and mobs (never got a drop but people says that)

CHANGING STATS (EFFECTS)
Hiram gear's stats can be changed in Inventory> Gear Upgrade > Replace Effects tab. Everytime when you regrade your gear, you will get a free roll chance up to 5. Even after make it T2-3-4, you will be able to regrade again and get your free rolls! After all those free rolls, If you are still not happy about your gear's stats, you can use Serendipity Stone to change your stats!
I recommend you to join Nation raids or make one. It's much faster and safer. I don't recommend reset raids if you have time and playing hardcore. Those raids are moving way too fast and %60 of players are missing some mobs. Also it's stressful. Get a chill raid and enjoy!
